Working with Ryan has been an absolute pleasure. My daughter initially asked for a tutor as she was getting nervous about middle school and wanted to be prepared, and it’s worked. Ryan has been able to help her through concepts she hadn’t actually mastered in elementary school and given her loads of confidence moving forward. He has shown her that math can be interesting and fun, introducing her to notions she hadn’t considered and is now intrigued by. Math is often a subject where kids can be afraid to ask questions and feel intimidated by their teachers. In developing her relationship with Ryan, I think it’s helped her find her own math teacher less intimidating. I believe the more adult relationships a child can have with people outside of their family will really help them in the real world. We can’t recommend Ryan enough.
